They write about our raids in the papers . . .

So we were sitting behind one JA Adande at game 1 of the finals and clearly made an impression.

"J.A. Adande: I don't like being in Boston. I think it has the worst weather in the country (that's coming from a guy who lived in Chicago for 6 years). The street layout is a mess; terrible drivers. But I have to respect the Celtics fans, particularly when I was sitting in the lower bowl in the second half. They're into the game at all times. Not talking on their cell phones or making plans for afterward. Every word I heard throughout the second half involved the game, strategy, etc. They were on their feet about half the time. But man, I wish I had the alcohol concession in that building. Every time they showed a fan on the scoreboard screen, he or she was holding a beer "

Next thing you know we are gonna need a youth worker

I'm saying Celtics in 7

Does anyone else think Perk is an X factor in this series? I have a feeling he's gonna have lots of his garbage point opportunities.

Series predictions?

Celts in 6. We watch the clincher from our Game 6 seats...and all of the misery was worth it in the end....suffering through 20 years of Frank Brickowski, Marty Conlon, ML Carr, Little Ricky Pitino, Jerome Moiso, Eric Montross, Kedrick Brown, Chris Wallace, Todd Day, Dana Barros, Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Marcus Banks...the list goes on and on...pure misery.

Defense and rebound win this title.....17 is on its way home. Thanks McHale....the Gophers appreaciate it.

All Time Celtics Team

What does everyone think of SI's all time Celtics team? First of all it is a pretty sick squad. The only possible point of contention is starting Garnett over McHale. Especially since Garnett has only been on the C's for one year. Everyone else on the list (with the excpetion of DJ) is a Celtic Lifer. Years of service has to factor in here.

A few thoughts from last night's game . . .

1. Thank goodness Ray got back on track. That early 3 he hit on the break was huge . . . tough shot to make. Had he not gotten back on track, who would have taken that key shot he made down the stretch from the baseline inbound with no time on the shot clock?
2. Sam Cassell blows
3. Rondo kills me with those floater passes he lobs out there. He can get careless with the ball
4. PJ Brown keeps playing solidly . . . great job PJ!
5. They gotta do something to counter that trap beyond the 3 point arc Detroit keeps playing on them . . . Rondo being able to hit an open jump shot would help.
6. Are they going with a 7 man rotation from here on out?
7. NBA refereeing is atrocious

Goddamn lard-ass Anderson Varejao

I can't stand that goofball Varejao. On the defensive end he absolutely mauls Garnett, full on bear hugs, and there are no calls. Then on offense he is flopping around like a spastic. And then the freakin hair. I hate this guy.

By the way, this guy pretty much sums up the Celtics situation in the first paragraph. When they inevitably get into a tight game at the Garden, we are gonna see the same dazed and confused team out there that we've seen on the road and that will be the end of the series.
