FOLLOW HIS NOSE...HE ALSO KNOWS.... THAT DOC BLOWS

Sports guy wrote today about the mighty Doc Rivers. (THE MAD DOCTOR). He knows that Doc Blows and has been saying it for years. He nicely summed up how awful he is as a coach and laid out exactly why. I could not possibly agree more. I especially like how he reminds us of the 2005 series vs. Indiana.
Doc has and continues to be my greatest fear for this team. The guy is the worst big game coach in NBA history. He is so bad he actually makes Cleavland's coach look good and that is very very hard to do.
God Speed to the Celtics tonight.
WE NEED A HERO!!!
If Larry Legend was still playing you could be sure he would put up 35-17 and 10 tonight. Letting all of us know that he would not let us lose in round 2.
WHO WILL BE OUR NEW HERO???

Goddamn lard-ass Anderson Varejao
I can't stand that goofball Varejao. On the defensive end he absolutely mauls Garnett, full on bear hugs, and there are no calls. Then on offense he is flopping around like a spastic. And then the freakin hair. I hate this guy.
By the way, this guy pretty much sums up the Celtics situation in the first paragraph. When they inevitably get into a tight game at the Garden, we are gonna see the same dazed and confused team out there that we've seen on the road and that will be the end of the series.

A DOC IN THE HEADLIGHTS
Last time Doc was in the playoffs with the Celtics they were playing Indiana. The Celts were a superior team on paper and were leading the series. They could not close it out in a Game 6 and then, for the first time in History, a Celtics team lost a game 7 at home. It was not just a loss....it was an absolute blowout by 40 points. A 40 point loss at home in a playoff game seven is absolutely disgusting.
The point is DOC does not seem to know how to make adjustments when opposing teams get on a run. He never seems to insert the right defender at the right time....or ADJUST the current defensive scheme in order to stop momentum. He also does not adjust his offensive game plan to prevent quick shots further contributing to opponents runs.
Were was Tony Allen in the 4th Quarter vs. Joe Johnson?
WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR JOSH SMITH...last two games 27 & 26 points with 12 blocks?? How many more quarters do you need to see JOSH dominate before you make a change??
Bottom line if the Celtics lose this series, which is MOST CERTAINLY possible, DOC must be fired the next day.....PERIOD...... and Rick Carlisle should be hired the following. I will not be able to follow this team if they lose and Doc continues to be the coach.
I know this is all over sports radio right now...but go back in the blog archive and read my comments about DOC at the beginning of the season.
HE WAS and CONTINUES to be my biggest fear. I had hoped the team, under defensive master mind Tom Thibodeau, had turned a corner by being the best Defensive team in the league this season. But with the new playoff lineup....the celts defense has looked terrible when it counts. This supposed rested Celts team looks Tired and Old....and I am really concerned that I am seeing a repeat of the series from 4 years ago.

Bibby Says Celts Have Fairweather Fans-Team Responds

Per usual come playoff time there seems to always be one player on the opposing team who opens his big mouth. Mike Bibby is a shell of himself as a player. The guy essentially SUCKS write now. A second year player "Rondo", in his first ever NBA playoff game, made old MIKE look like a former Dempsey star trying to relive the good old days.
So Mike is frustrated that HE BLOWS and has to take it out on someone. Sadly he picked the wrong fans to get on...just ask J-Kid. I am sure the Boston Fans will have a warm reception for him tonight!
Here are some of Bibby's Comments:
"They were kind of loud at the beginning," said Bibby. "But a lot of these fans are bandwagon jumpers trying to get on this now.
"I played here last year, too, [with Sacramento] and I didn't see three-fourths of them. They're for the team now and they might get a little rowdy, but that's about it."
"It's good that they know I'm here," Bibby said. "It was just a little confrontation to get them involved a little bit. But they are fair-weather fans, if you ask me."
See the video of Celtics Players responding to the Bibby comments....
